Funnily enough, people should want these kind of ears, since it would allow for easier placement of hats (or rather lessen an excuse for not having them). Although, I doubt SE would do that in any case, since they would still have to do hat hair.

But it looks horrendous with these ears lol…we should wish for quality and SE should honestly just hire a modder since a whole team can’t seem to do the job someone does in their room alone
