To this day the best Hrothgars are:
-Runar for being a cute boy and in the MSQ
-Bajsaljen for taking initiative and leading the resistance (a good but underrepresented faction of what SE wanted to accomplice with the race)
-Radovan cause he is precious

I'll be honest..,
I didn't even look at the ears specifically until it was stated specifically above..,
I thought the previous posts were about some other model for something else.
Yeah very unnatural.

I guess since we all focus on the facial structure I didn't look to where the ears are located.
The only other thing I looked at is their attire.
Which looks great, but I guess one would hope too much for SE/CBUIII to do well with their racial starting gear/hempen set, That I don't imagine them in a full robe at the start.

Either/anyways..,
The ears really do throw of the faces intended look.
It reduces the beast/animal traits way too much despite being there in quantities that even ear placement can ruin it all.

I honestly dont think its a bad look overall. But if we are expecting an Idea counterpart to the Hrothgar Males, then the Hrothgar Females should also have their ears in the "Correct" position, higher on the head.
The picture works fine for Dragons Dogma, thats their universe. But FFXIV...ears better be correct Yoshi-domo

Lose the humanoid ears and add some animal ears instead and this would be a 10/10

Barring the elf ears, I don't think anyone is asking for more. People just want a good looking female beast as a counterpart for Hrothgar. And this is pretty good.

All Hrothgar that appear are by default best boy, 100% would scratch their ears and under the chin. But Magnus is a bro. We need to find him a date. Also would be nice if we could help the mining settlement get back on their feet. Just for good boy Magnus.

Second part's fine and all, but something tells me that he would turn down any attempt to get him a new partner. Or be insulted by the idea even, I get the feeling Hrothgars are like, super loyal to their partner (given that females are meant to be very rare), so they would just live out the rest of their life single, just out of respect to their partner. And he had a child he lost too, so that but twice as much
