Just because they want the same plot location as you do doesn't mean they are trolling. People have every right to bid on a plot they feel is worth their one and only ticket every 9 days.

The issue and the thing they are refrencing too, is how there are ''FREE COMPANIES'' on Balmung, that rolls around withy 20+ members, bids on a house, win said house, then next lottery relocates after winning again, and so on.

This was directly confirmed to me by an FC who said they had done it since 6.0 AND if that wasn't enough they legit continued and said ''We still have more left over gil to do this for as long as we want LMAO''

The solution still stands. Bid on a different house which is unaffected.

If someone manages to move to a different size house or different district, they shouldn't be prevented from doing so again because entitled people think they are the only ones with a justification to bid on their favorite location. Everyone (including those whom you might consider trolls and bullies) are allowed to move wherever they want.

People asked for a lottery system that doesn't discriminate and they got it. Having bad luck and losing against people who don't have any real plans to use the house is literally the system working as intended and exactly how people wanted it.

No one is leaving any of that behind unless a large is guaranteed. Give me a guaranteed large in NA and I will transfer instantly. Until then, stop with that argument. Do you own a large yourself or does your FC have one?

It's that easy. And I've been doing it awhile now with friends who are all over the place, on different servers and DCs. It's not rocket science or cat wrangling. I have a harder time coordinating a static raid time than I do just logging in and picking where we're hanging out for a chill evening.

Lastly, you had a very good chance at a large when Dynamis opened and didn't take it. We did. I got a large personal house for my friends and I to hang out in first. It had all of 3 bids, I was lucky #2. Later on, when our FC was able to bid, we snagged a large FC house, completely uncontested.

Because we all decided to take advantage of a brand new DC opening and didn't hesitate. If we wanna hang out with other friends who stayed behind, it's as simple as the scenario I gave above.

Good day, I am writing this forum post, as per today. Balmung and many of the NA Crystal housing situations are and have been getting MASSIVELY out of hand.

With the latest implimentation of Housing and housing wards, with FC/PRIVATE together making it even harder for people to get houses.

On Balmung, there's plethora of small 2-5 people FC's and Larger FC's who will roll around, bid on private houses, win them, relocate than do the same thing over again next lottery.

I've now tried for 75 diffrent houses.

I've played since 1.0 and right now, it is heart wrenching how BAD the Lottery system is.

Please don't get me wrong, it is better than the SPAM CLICK to be lucky system... but seriously... you have games like Old school runescape, who have done instances private housing... and it works. BUT i do understand wanting to have wards to show of decoration and all that, i like that too.

What i don't like is how utterly TERRIBAD the housing system is.

Please FIX this... AND please deal with the trolls who relocates just to ruin it for others.

Yeah, data center travel made moving and truly leaving everything and everyone behind a thing of the past and soon there will be global data center traveling too. It really is self inflicted at this point when they can simply travel to Balmung and play with their friends there /huh

While those players fight over a small, I'll just /tea from my personal P60 Shiro Mansion in Seraph and then travel to Exodus to play with my friends still there when I grew tired of losing all click wars prior to the lotto system since Shiro first released in SB and all lottos prior to transferring to Seraph when it opened :3

So remember how I stopped being the first bidder because I always lost? And how last lotto number 1 actually won? Well the same plot came up in a different ward and I thought, surely there’s no way in RNG that number 1 would win twice! I was wrong… I lost to number 1 for the second time in a row. I was number 2.

I am so sick of this lotto… it’s not like I’ve been bidding on prime plots. My dream plot hasn’t been up in months! There were only 7 bids, and that’s about the average lately for everything I’ve been bidding on, some higher, some lower. Even my dream plot bids didn’t ever go above 14! But I lost back in January when there were only 3 bids on it too. It’s all random, number of bids doesn’t matter, plot doesn’t matter.

RNG just hates me… and people wonder why I don’t transfer? I guarantee you if I went through all the hassle and moved to the least populated server on Dynamis right now and waited til the end of next lotto and put a bid on an uncontested plot right before reset, someone else would show up a split second later and win it. That’s how bad my luck is…

So yeah folks, go for what you want… relocation is pretty much impossible, if you’re lucky enough to win anything at all.
