You keep saying that they are rewarded for doing a hard content.

That has been debunked when Criterion Dungeons came out. No one does it as much as Yoshi and co. thought they would because the rewards for clearing it were... very underwhelming. People don't play because it is "hard content" people play for the rewards so they can show off and brag like: "I cleared this!"

Those very few people that do hard content just for the funsies, I commend them but you gotta look at things realistically that majority of people that do hard content is because they want that carrot on the stick.

Wow another post about this, it feels like people have never played an mmo before ff14, this is a very normal thing its the carrot on the stick that gets people to do it, like do you really think people ran molten core back in the day cause "it looked cool" no they did it cause they wanted to get the best gear and show off to all there friends.

Stop being ridiculous you're not cut off from the reward at all. Just wait an expansion or two unsync the content and get the mount (yes you can even unync it earlier...). The people that do the content when relevant deserve the reward.

If you join late, you miss out, you need to leave some unique opportunities to just be there as an option, the stuff is meant for that period or timeframe, join the next one.

There is no argument, the only thing you need to relate to, either you put your foot in the rear to get these things, and if you want them faster you gotta work more for it, I didn't get the Centurio Tiger from the Hunt without putting in an effort for it and I took it even casual doing it... so had it around 1 year after, though the grind can be done in 3 months of no lifing, I wanted the mount badly really badly due to it is my favourite animal as well.

So I put in the effort doing it, and along side with all the side rewards and riches you can earn as well from the hunt I started, I had a little of a headstart due to I got into the hunt from HW, but not much... 2000 S ranks slain, 3000 A Ranks slain... as for the coolnes or cuteness it was worth it every single bit, I had to get the Aeturna Tiger mount as well at any cost.. so I did... even got the additional mount from the lootboxes out of it as well so double jackpot and a mount I can use when I am in the Tempest.

Morale of this, if you want something badly, you got to work for it and no bars should stop you.

For the new savage mount, it makes sense since Pandæmonium is an Elpis thing, then I see a good reason to that also could become a Savage Mount Drop...

And if you are in fear of missing the Series Throphy Stone PvP rewards... then it is simply because you refuse to do the content, it is NOT difficult to achieve rank 25 in it, and it is there for a LOONG LONG time... and a handfull of matches you are already level 10, and the best part you may be dragged out of your boring life sitting in Limsa Lominsa or some disgusting nightclub and get to actually do some stuff for a change, that does not require you to gear up to max iLevel, you could go in wearing just a weapon, you would have the same armor class and the likes as any other of the job you joined with.

So just stop complaining and do stuff, I do stuff... I am not into savage so I miss out on some mounts, but it does not mean I cannot do it, I can, everyone can, but you need to put down the time and effort doing such.

I think the only thing that is "inaccessible" are the ultimate weapons since they take actual skill to get and even then if you want them so much, learn the fights and work on them. The savage stuff can just be gotten in the next expansion when the fights are a joke compared to what they were at launch.

Still not inaccessible if you want them learn the fight. Same as the mount reward from playing tank is not inaccessible or the achievement tools from crafting. Everything's inaccessible if you're a lazy c :P lol
