Reading between the lines here, but that sounds to me like NTT is trying to get $$$ out of ATT to fix this problem.I submitted a ticket to both ATT and NTT today. The technician at ATT said that it has been escalated and gave me a contact to provide details to the "backend team", and the response received from NTT was:
"I have associated this to our master ticket. I cannot disclose the full details but know that this incident is escalated to the highest level within NTT. I would advise continuing to create tickets with your upstream provider, ATT, to bring attention and awareness to the impact this is having on you and other ATT customers."
Joined the forums to also say as an ATT Fiber subscriber, I am having issues with lag and rubberbanding only while playing FFXIV. Thankfully I am on PC and have the option to use a VPN to solve the issue for now...but others are not as fortunate.
Awful that this has been going on for several days now with no resolution in sight.

What would be the best way of contacting ATT about this issue? Going through their standard customer service chat? I've sent an email to NTT's customer support page; for what good that will do. Better than just sitting here and hoping right?
Not sure what good it'll do but went ahead submitted another ticket to Square with my tracert results. Still suffering here as well.
I vented abit on socials to explaining the issue to the best of my ability tagging square, FF_XIV_EN and NTT. Linked it if you wanna try and give it more traffic or add details. Feel the more attention it gets, more Square will be forced to fix it.

Haven't tried contacting either AT&T or NTT however from my test, the NTT server is at fault for the issue, packet loss starts at the San Jose and Sacramento NTT nodes.
We shouldn't have to go through this much effort to have this fixed.
*edit I should mention I have also submitted ingame bug reports multiple times since the issue started on May 15th with not a SINGLE reply back.....
Heeeeey we've hit 70 pages!
*sad trombone*
I want to run Panda so bad... I've already gotten spoiled on one big thing, I don't want the whole thing spoiled for me just because I couldn't play it on release because of a company pissing contest. Can't even run the dungeon in good conscience because I contribute nothing as a DPS with this.... *sigh*
Yeah, it was a really bad feeling being dead weight for the healer whenever I was in a duty all last week. I didn't even attempt running as healer which is what I mostly run.

Played since 1.0 beta. Will be leaving the game if this is not fixed. I'm sick and tired of this occurring every patch cycle. Barely finished the new normal tier and don't think EX is achievable in this current state. Can't double weave. Can't play the jobs I prefer. Work with NTT to get this fixed or I'm gone. No point in paying a sub for a broken connection because of NTT. Fed up at this point.
I somehow managed to not die for the dungeon and raids, but my FC and I attempted the Unreal and my lag was just awful. It got to the point where they'd give me audio cues in Discord of when to move because I saw nothing on my screen until it was too late. *sigh* There should be att lag support groups running content where everybody is lagging xD
Can confirm i've been having the same issue since the server maintenance or upgrades they did.
Constant rubber banding and MASS lag spikes making the game almost Unplayable. It happened after the server updates it seems. Just really hard to play FF14 with this much lag and rubberbanding.
I'm also on AT&T, contacting them didn't seem to get anywhere. Not sure what to do, just hope it gets fixed.

If you have a VPN that seems to completely remove the problem.
Using 1.1.1.1 seems to help as well.
AT&T Fiber user who shouldn't have to put up with this sh!t. SE needs to flex their big boi million dollar muscles and get NTT to get on the job.
