Why is there a "children's bed" mount?

And its disturbingly weird.

Why?

Gemina, before I met my beloved, I dated a few ladies, in each and every case their beds were strewn with huge plushies. One of them had a THREE FOOT Garfield, which she said she used to cuddle up with in bed. Gotta tell you, I tried it and it was warm and soft and floofy, so i dont really see an issue here.

Hell one of my wifes nurses was given her Sylvester the Cat plushie to take home, she LOVED it ( yeah, well again, infection control really didnt like it so theres that....). That looks like every womans bed.

I dont get the outrage. There are a lot of things to get annoyed about, but this one? I dont see it.
