Yup. Of course, that doesn't put you at a disadvantage when it comes to things like DPS meters, does it? (And you don't have to fork over $60USD per year for the PS+ subscription).
Do people still pay for TP costs? Forgot what those were. Game literally throws Aetheryte Tickets at you.
Yes, but only for transports that cost more than 1k gil. You can get 20 Aetheryte tickets per week by merely killing your Grand Company B-level elite mark and turning the reward in.
Guild Wars 2 just got a "big" patch yesterday too, it's about 5% of XIV's content, lol. I barely had to scroll down to read the full patch notes. Some new story most people finished in an hour... Nothing else. After 3 months of waiting. Yikes.
We are so lucky in XIV because we get a huge amount of content compared to other MMOs, I don't even understand the whiners, tbh.
Professional lurker.
Quit & unsub, they will wake up.Just going to say it… FFXIV content is lacking and telling the player base to play other games is just a lazy way to get out of it. Yoshi desire of people playing other games is not only going to hurt the players, but the company also will lose customers.
Example: playing Zelda while in a live letter is extremely lazy.
Some of us players want to play FFXIV and do actual content. Take a look at the new pvp weapons, that is lazy and minimal effort is in them. “They now have a glow” like seriously? Same wep but glowy? How is that enticing?
Point is Yoshi shouldn’t pawn players off to other games while having such low effort put in.
Not everyone is RP or wanting to RP, club hopping in a game isn’t content.
With that all said I hope yoshi stops killing this game. It’s basically a second life emulator now.
Yuck!

Not only does GW2 make a fraction of the money FF14 does, its also not a sub based MMO. Not to mention FF14 patch content isnt worth talking about either, 2 hours of MSQ (which is, 20 minutes of gameplay, the rest is picking your nose watching cutscenes)Guild Wars 2 just got a "big" patch yesterday too, it's about 5% of XIV's content, lol. But ultimately, "but other game bad" is a shit defense. Always has been, always will be. WoW gets more content in a x.5 patch than FF14 gets in a .x0 patch. What you have to say about that? Since you like comparing games.
this is some serious copium right there lmao, totally no bias at all too, also the MSQ I finished in under an hour too, that includes the dungeon and the trial, so?Guild Wars 2 just got a "big" patch yesterday too, it's about 5% of XIV's content, lol. Part of the issue is that unlike in Shadowbringers, they aren't making content as integrated with the main systems of the game so they start lacking purpose. They are adding housing into the island sanctuary but unless they are going to do something with the gathering and crafting there that better integrates with actual gathering and crafting it feels like busywork. Not to mention instead of moving the prior two steps in the manderville series to poetics (which is what should have happened with the tomestones rotating), they just made them all take Astronomy. That was a serious face slap moment right there considering now you can't even go and do retro content to get the freaking materials for an outdated weapon. No, we got to all go do the sparse content the game has to offer and put up with completely garbage mouse wheel stuff.
Not to mention this puts pressure on a single overused tomestone, because that same tomestone is used for materials used in all crafted gear.
