Had an idea about Island Sanctuary

I was wondering if we'd ever get something neat like being able to actually cook ingredients we farm into meals? It would be kind of like Animal Crossing's recently implemented cooking feature, but with a real benefit. Maybe something like getting a buff for eating the food you cook? An increase in gathered amount gained for certain groups of materials (ores/vegetation/logs/ocean life) for a limited time? I really just want a cooking minigame (like the minigame they have for spear fishing, but for cooking lol). Maybe implement the possibility of fishing near bodies of water to get fish you can use for the meals? It's probably asking for a lot and the buffs might make the Island Sanctuary experience turn out shorter than intended but I just really want to have a cooking minigame.

I like this idea, but i'd settle for a teleport directly into the Island. Sometimes I don't bother going as I don't feel like zoning twice. Unless I am missing something and this is a thing...

Yeaaah, I've just gotten used to teleporting to the Moraby Drydocks whenever I want to go check my island. A teleport feature for that would be nice if it was isolated like the teleport to your FC house is - riiiiiiiight at the top of the teleport list

I want the whole Island Sanctuary to revolve around us creating stuff ourselves more. Even if we had to insta-craft a stack of components and then leave it to the mammets to assemble, it would still be nice to feel more involved.

Also to have the workshop crafts be "meaningful" – maybe we've developed trade arrangements with other organisations that need the arbitrary items we are creating. (Where by "we" I mean Tataru.)

That's called Expert craft. That is also already in game, just not really relevant to IS.

But I get where you're going, since IS released, both west and JP wanted more actually relaxing things, like minigames involving fishing and cooking. But at this pace, I doubt we'll get something more meaningful than empty rank increases before EW ends, and we all know well that SE will abandon IS after 7.0 like they always do.
