To actually contribute to the topic, precisely how much were we expecting a simple live letter to actually fix? Are miraculous revelations common for live letters around these parts? I'd not know, seeing as I don't actually watch them or even peruse the contents of the patch notes themselves.

Kinda just depends I guess? SE really likes to stick to precedent, so typically they drop the biggest content patch of the expansion in a x.3, which typically has the expansion "gimmick" (Diadem,Eureka, Bozja, all that stuff). So if you're disappointed by 6.3, it's not really gonna get any better content-wise, sorry gang.

Iirc x.1 and x.3 typically has job overhauls and reworks, which you guys got. X.4 is typically the last chance they'll do a sweeping balance change/ job overhaul because it's the last raid tier.

But I don't think anybody actually expected SE to just drop another expansion in X.4 lmao. That's ridiculous.
I think people just want the acknowledgement that they do hear the issues people have been having post launch Shadowbringers, like healers, physical ranged, SMN, etc...

It comes across as them being too good for people's opinions, despite players being sold the lie that is "yeah they always listen to us!", and I think that's what pisses people off.
