What's Woke about FFXIV? Julius having Blue Hair? Maybe Im just to old and dont get it. Stuff like this just makes no sense the way people use it.
The games not even in Maintenance Mode, if it were we wouldnt be getting new (I know, subjective word) content, or Live Letters to tell us & show us said new content WITH a trailer.

It's just depressing at this point, the game that came back from the ashes has become stale and I hoped it would never reach that point but here we are.

The fact that it came back from the ashes is why it's stale now. They are too scared to try anything risky or innovative, lest they accidentally burn it down again.

I think any game gets stale after a number of years. It might or might not have anything to do with the content being provided. I suspect the culprit is the player themselves just getting tired of something.

Either the content still works for you or it doesn't. No point in continuing to try to get the devs to change content plans to suit your personal tastes. Play if you are enjoying it or move on if you are not.
