Yeah, I agree with your point. Granted I wasn't expecting this live letter to change anything but a little nod would have been nice, such as, "We've been hearing people want more to the relic process and other systems and will be looking into that for future releases" would've been something.

It was a stupid wish to expect acknowledgement in that regards because the patch work is done ages ago… you wouldn’t announce anything here. You would announce it at a fanfest or in interviews outside of it but to expect your issues to be addressed knowing this wasn’t going to happen just gave them a dumb reason to continue venting even though after ALL THESE YEARS knowing how they operate expected something out of the norm? Sigh

I don't think it's stupid for people in charge to acknowledge its customer base. If you read the statement you quoted correctly this doesn't mean they need to change actions now, it means it's something they will keep in mind. It's a live letter. You make it sounds like they recorded Yoshi P ages ago and just released the video.
