While I am of the opinion that I don't like diversity for the sake of diversity so long as the story is good and doesn't disparage others since propaganda gets really tiring, I can say changing anyone's skin color when they already exist is in poor taste.

But games actually DO affect real life. Minorities who see themselves represented in media will become more likely to learn from these role models as they grow up. So yes, even in a fantasy land, representation is important.

Yes. I'm sure there are a great many people who wish to identify as a bipedal talking elephant. And if they choose to either wear brightly coloured robes, or refuse to wear anything at all, we should respect that too.

I also feel that we should not view the inability of those who identify as a Dragon to breathe fire as a disability.

Behold suntan. She went from 2,5 to 2,4 which makes sense if she’s been kept underground for a couple of years. I dunno incompetence seems an easier explanation here - as with everything else in endwalker it wasn’t thought through properly and they just didn’t put the skin back when returned to the source.
