The fact that youre not accepting being part of the problem with defending your own community and instead rather continue to defend the neerdowells that clearly show a lot of power in the modding scene, is telling me you actually dont care about holding anyone accountable and instead taking the easy way out by blaming the devs.

I don't ERP, but that poster lost me when he said that people who do or use sexy mods are degenerates.

I just don't think that is the case - though I don't have a hostile relationship with sexuality.

In fact, I know some people personally who use these types of online interactions to heal from past experiences of sexual violence as part of their recovery - from behind the safety of their screens.

Maybe there is probably some behavior that goes on I'd be shocked by or find very strange or not for me, but I'm not willing to generalize or cast aspersions on people I don't know jsut for some interest in ERP.

I just want this stuff out of public view. No shout chat ads and party finder listings for this stuff. I am perfectly fine should you elect to do it in private but I think the whole private things gets thrown out the window when you start advertising it.

It's almost like you can.. just not look ? All the venue ads are on the "other" category ? As for mods, you literally dont have to see them so I'm not sure what the problem is ?

As for shout ads, they are annoying sure, I just have shouts off and I never have to worry about them ever again

It adds to the actual RPG enviroment.... RPG is far from all based on NPCs you interact with.

MMORPG means Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game, if you ever actually did play RPGs or RPs... eg. With Pen and Paper Cyperpunk, Star Wars, Dungeons & Dragons and the list goes on, you would understand the the part in it is not just interacting with the story but alose those people you play with.

Venues, people actually having RP as a part of the game as well as enduring the rest of the game, is the ones that actually get full value for the game.

It is kind of weak that there is people supposed to be opposed having venues, bars... clubs.... and or side storylines going as well... it may not be those peoples cup of tea, but however, why not give it somewhat a try and live the actual full game.

FFXIV is not just waiting for the next Dungeon to be released, the next tier of Savage or whatever, it is just a part of the possible content come and already existing as well.

Sadly the other tab is usually where I pick up airship/submarine materials as they can't be sold and only traded so when I want a new house layout or to upgrade the airships/submarines I do have to go there. I would gladly take a tab for these kinds of things though or just allowing them to be sold on the marketboard.

Sure I can turn off shout chat just to have to turn it back on when I go into Eureka or Bozja which is a real shame as I was debating finishing that RDM relic I started back in Stormblood for Eureka.

My problem is the people here arguing that the game is at fault for the erp, when its has always been the modders themselves for creating the scene. I ultimately dont care nor delve into the perverted side of FFXIV. I just dont like people being stupid in thinking that the game has been focusing on that crowd for the reason why the game has been lackluster.
