    Magicians don't make much sense in this game's world anyway because magic is actually a thing. If it weren't, the one person claiming to be capable of it would be of more intrigue.

    It's perfect for the "putting on a show" aspect of BLU, though.

    A lot of NPCs actually can't cast magic so in some communities of people may use something like this as entertainment.

    Even most of the NPCs we engage with in Disciples of Magic tend to struggle, as our WoL/Mary Sue effortlessly surpasses their life's work in 10 minutes.

    I could see the sleight of hand being something Garleans would start practicing for entertainment purposes...or a man from Thavnair trying to make a living in Garlemald.

    I could see magicians working in one or two ways:
    1. Actual mages using their magic to entertain the masses.
    2. Being like IRL magicians, using prestidigitation and technology with a flair of showmanship. Seeing as this is a fantasy world, they would probably double as spies/assassins.
