You've cared enough to post twice already.Nobody asked, nobody cares.
I don't know what get into the mind of people when they feel threatened by other people's opinions. People disliking the game doesn't invalidate your experience. Some people can be fine with the game while others aren't and both can be correct in their opinion you know?
Then why cast aspersions? You could just as easily have said you and your friends are having a great time with the game. Instead of stopping there, you chose to make inferences about other posters and their intentions. Every forum has its pot-stirrers, but your phrasing very much seems to be aimed at more than the two or three known trolls we have kicking about at the moment. Can't say I'm looking to crucify anybody. I just didn't see the need for the inflammatory remark tacked on at the end. If you weren't looking to post bait, then you kinda shot yourself in the foot with it.
If you enjoy the game, more power to you. That's great. You have something you like doing and people to do that thing with.
Many of those of us criticizing it aren't doing it because we hate it or want to cause problems or what have you. Setting aside people venting their frustrations, the objective of criticism is normally to bring about change or improvement. It's something people do when they care.

We live in an era where technology is literally in the hands of a great many people. It's not exactly difficult or time consuming to compose a forum post or even a series of forum posts.
Perhaps those trying to create strawman arguments about anyone with critical feedback as not leaving their homes would be better served with some self reflection. You're playing a Final Fantasy game, a product with mainstream appeal. Quite a lot of people playing this game regularly leave their homes, have other hobbies and even keep in shape!
The attempts to render any attempt at voicing criticism as a time wasting exercise has always been something conducted in bad faith. Nobody is forcing you to read or even agree with it. Yet this forum's purpose is largely to serve as a place for customers to leave feedback. They're encouraged to do so if they raise an issue in-game.
Whether anyone working for the company actually reads it is another matter altogether, though people have long bonded on forums such as this by discussing the game's perks and/or flaws.
True, but don't let it get you jaded. There are still a lot of people with good and worthwhile critique. Lend your proverbial ear to those rather than the hatebaiters. For those that lurk on the forums and are seeing all the repeated negative downer posts keep in mind it seems that this has turned into an echo chamber for a few of the bad actors who seem to thrive on stirring up drama and seeing what kind of reaction they can get.
The game in reality vs. the game presented here in the forums are not the same game.
I log in 7 days a week, play with my many friends I've made in the FC and have an absolute blast doing so. In my roughly two years here I've never heard ONE person moaning about what you see here on the forums. We have a great time and will continue to do so.
See you in Eorzia!
We are talking about trolls, and we know there are some here. Not those leaving constructive feedback. There is a good percentage of these forums where the OP has no intention of providing any constructive feedback. If someone can dig some feedback out of their behavior, it's secondary to their primary motive: to instigate. We live in an era where technology is literally in the hands of a great many people. I know from your many posts that reading comprehension isn't your forte, but I was talking about the claim that "everything is fine for me!". That part, nobody cares.
Yes, I do care about people feeling threatened by negative opinions though, which I why I reply to your post too.
Which tells you absolutely nothing.
If I went by my own "bubble" then I haven't had any content worth doing for the last 3 months because I finished everything else that I had even a remote interest in, only a single person out of my FC besides me still plays the game, my friend list (of people I mostly met during Stormblood) is pretty much dead and the only content people even still do is old Ultimates.
According to my own bubble it's absolutely not "fine", see how useless taking only your own experience into account is?
