I've wanted Titania's dress for my female characters since Shadowbringers and wasn't impressed in the slightest by the cheap online store knockoff. Overall I would have liked to have seen the fae play more of a role in the story in tandem with additional rewards...and then we get tone deaf responses like "Why would you want to summon Feo Ul as a scholar? She might pull a prank on you!"

I guess with thinking limited as that we can't expect much from people who would sooner focus on a sentient bush and instead try and pass off this "King" nonsense when both Feo Ul and the original Titania are obviously female. Just wish they stuck with treating them with the respect high fantasy elements like this deserve instead of turning everything into a joke if not an attempt at subversive messaging in the english localization.

I mean... Feo Ul DOES say we can always say we want to be Titania, take their place....

Maybe then we'd get some goddang rest.

Summoners get cool Primals and DRGs get awesome armor, and we can't get a dress replica?

Mao was kinda wonderings about this. In GW2 can has wings that are FUNCTIONAL and can be dyed. Here can has only glam that can't be dyed and can't function and is only good for standings around like clothing store mannequin.

While our wings can't be dyed, the fashion accessories that currently exist are as functional as GW2 wings, and will move accordingly as you jump/fall, wings with more functionality than that are just skins for the Glider, which FFXIV doesn't even have a proper equivalent to, in fact it would largely be a completely obsolete system in FFXIV, since here mounts just have outright unlimited flight.

There is actually a funny quirk around this, if you are wearing the same skin for your back item as your glider skin, the back item will shrink and disapear for a moment when you pop out your glider, because the game will still treat them as different models even if they are the same, it's something very relevant to me as I use Archdemon Wings as part of my standard look in GW2.

Oh hey uh... so... turns out we actually agree about something for once? The Mog Station dress looks super cute on Lalafell, but I don't think it works as well on tall races. The boots and pants are actually really good to mix and match with other glams, but the dress itself never convinced as much. I keep hoping we eventually get something else regarding the pixies and the Fae folk. A side story with rewards that let us dress up in the style, maybe some pixies wanna come play so they cast a spell and we get glams for Selene and Eos with different colored ones, maybe we can get a Titania summon or something? Summoners get a bunch of cool Primals, and I like Seraph but compared to Titania? Then someone else made a thread about Rune Knights or something like that? I know I'd love a job fully based on their aesthetic, though that last one may be too much to wish for.

I'm at least hoping for more glam options. And hey, glad we could agree about something for once lol.

Biggest letdown for me was the Pixie Framer's Kit which is just plain ugly and has no nature, wings or leaf designs at all.

Well... if you look around enough within the community, someone made a version with simplified wings and no sleeves, and it's super lovely. Not endorsing anything, just saying...



That's why I thought more of a... "Here's a replica for my lovely branch" thing, more than a one-to-one "GIVE EXACT DRESS" type of thing. More than the dress itself though, it's the whole aesthetic, and how we got a leafman scary-funny ugly helmet instead of even something like the PvP Aiming Butterfly is what has me a bit sad.

Biggest letdown for me was the Pixie Framer's Kit which is just plain ugly and has no nature, wings or leaf designs at all.

I was hoping for flowers, branches some pretty wings or something... Instead is just an ok stained glass background and some half-barely noticeable rainbows.

Which is on some of the castle windows in Il Mheg, but there was also something more like this...


Which is so much more colorful, but I guess not this time.

Edit: Did we get a frame?? I think I picked the Pixie one but it's so indistinct I'm actually not sure if it's from something else

I have the Fae dress, worked well for a Forgiven Namazu glam for a silly EX prog a couple years ago lol. I use the boots, capris, and the head piece for a lot of stuff, but not so much the dress. I'd definitely go for the kingly dress though, I'm sure at least one of my characters would make it work.
