    A few suggestions that, in my opinion, will improve PvP

    1. Increase the time limit on inactivity, it is really irritating as someone with bladder issues to nip to the toilet and come back to find I've been timed out and prevented from playing for 30 minutes.

    2. Get rid of PvP hotbars and give us our full normal hotbars, just disable healing abilities for anybody who isn't a healer (to try and encourage proper party cohesion), disable LBs (they are far too exploitable), and remove battle high system.

    3.New PvP mode for 8 light parties - have a dungeon with 8 different routes to a central final superboss (that all parties fight like a FATE monster) laid out in the same way as normal dungeons (ie 2 mobs, midboss, 2 mobs, midboss, 2 mobs, final boss) award points for clearing bosses, damage done etc. Award bonus points for order in which each party clears mid bosses, bonus points for doing most damage to final boss etc. winner is party with most points once final boss goes down.

    1.) I'm sorry about your issues, but no. This would get abused by people wanting to AFK through matches.

    2.) No. As much as I enjoy the pve systems, the limitations of the combo strings just straight up do not work in pvp. We had this when pvp was first introduced and it was awful. What we have now is perfect for pvp.

    3.) Frontlines are barely pvp already. Why would you suggest modes with basically no pvp in it? I'm all for objectives in pvp, but what you're wanting here is not even pvp anymore.

    Actually this does sound like a fun PvE thing. Honestly you're on to something there. Boss rushes tend to be pretty fun in general, and sense on competitiveness on top would be fun, especially if they start re-hashing old mechs/bosses that are randomly picked and randomly decided per instance between the different factions. If they could work this in, and made it flow well. I'd play this a-lot.

    Only thing I agree with is removing bh.

    Or make it so that each rank of bh reduces your dr by 20%, make em work to retain that bh.

    1. If you refer to the ranked single strike system, then I do think myself that this was a mistake to implement it for several reasons. The ranked pool of players is already thin enough. If somebody has the misfortune to miss the timer when it finally pops, then most of the time you remove that 10th player everybody has been waiting for ages. It's trying to make players pay more attention to queues, but instead it's removing them from the pool immediately. The normal 3 strikes system worked way better. What needs to be punished harder is somebody leaving a game, not somebody leaving the queue.

    BH suffers from the same problem that most of pvp in this game has suffered from since its inception: it focuses on rewarding good play and kills or pvp objectives, which is neat, but it never offers any solid defender's advantage and catch up mechanics.

    In FLs where BH is significant on how games tend to snowball, the mode could for example benefit from harsher and more dramatic buffs to tactical kill points for the losing teams as long as they kill players from a team scoring higher than them.

    In CC, there isn't enough safe spaces around spawn points to not get absolutely harassed to death when your team loses too much, which turns into seal clubbing. It's hard to recover from this, even though a game that comes to that point is usually a lopsided lost game anyway, true. But it still ties to how the level design is done on some maps, and the thing that consistently completely craps on the defenders is crystal checkpoints that are gigantic highways facing turns and corners, where the defenders have to literally get out of cover under a literal machinegun fire mowing everybody down immediately. The most annoying examples of this are found in the castletown map where holding a checkpoint is a big tactical advantage regarding the terrain, and cloud nine which suffers from the same problem. In both cases it's very annoying for the defenders to assault them, in contrast to the ones in the palaistra and volcano map.

    #1 is abusable but it is coming from a good faith argument, its controversial given match lengths.

    #2 absolutely not (except the BH part maybe), while I recently had the discussion with someone and can see the wish to have some cohesion between PVE and PVP kits, the current PVE job design is absolutely abyssmal aside from quantity. Many of those buttons make zero sense in PvP and some are just plain busted (Holy III aoe stun being spamable for instance)

    Additionally PVP Healers are designed as Support instead - we had iterations of Heal-focused Healers before 6.1 since PvP inception and the game was balanced around this. While a more classic Holy Trinity PvP it was a complete ballache to be a healer given the absurd responsibility and stress you were shouldered with.

    The way it is now it shifts responsibility heavily to the individual, which is more fun for the individual being attacked because he now actually has agency about it and the Healer as well because beyond what they can press its no longer their sole responsibility.

    #3 Oh so like a PvP boss gauntlet, this sounds interesting. Rival Wings' Goblin Mercenary utilises such a system. I like that.
