Can't quite see it, but I pulled 2 dodo horns out of the plat sacks after my group's clear of HoH. I'm far too nice and already have the dodo mount from pulling it from the 4.0 boxes. There goes my luck for the rest of the decade.

This one is beyond your help. Only sleep can save her now.
I wish I had a gif of this. I was in the fell court of troia and on the final boss the healer, tank and other dps all decided to stand in the purple glow right before the knock back into the wall.
I already knew that the SCH and GNB were some very talented individuals from earlier, but I didn't expect the BLM to get dropped like that. Oh, and afterwards during the restart the tank died at some point, got res'd but decided not to put their stance back on, provoke or use their enmity projectile, so a tank buster got dropped on me. Not entirely sure if that wasn't done on purpose. "We're all dying and failing basic boss mechanics, this will show you for surviving them and staying alive!"
Edit: Bruh, why is it always MSQ? Had a MSQ immediately after where the tank is using glitches to skip the cutscenes. Cool, whatever. Well, apparently that isn't enough and by Gaius the tank decides to pull while 3 of us are still CS'd and dies. The tank then proceeds to blame the rest of the party, and refuse to be raised, stating that we should all die and restart? I mean we did, we finished but wow...

Thats no glitch, if they play on japanese voices most cutscenes are shorter.I wish I had a gif of this. I was in the fell court of troia and on the final boss the healer, tank and other dps all decided to stand in the purple glow right before the knock back into the wall.

If you force a D/C on your computer during a cutscene (by turning off the internet until you DC then turning it back on, for example) or force-quit the game through task manager or the like and then log back into the game, it'll put you in the instance but have the current playing cutscene skipped. The JP cutscene isn't that much shorter than the ENG one, it isn't long enough for a tank to die before the rest of the peeps load in (I've pulled when I got out of the JP one and was barely 60% HP by the time the rest of the party came in).
So for the tank to actually die, I'm assuming they used the exploit to skip several minutes of Cutscenes, which would be a death sentence on Gaius due to several stack markers & tankbusters occuring before the party would come in, along with the fact the tanks have effectively zero sustain at 50.
Yes it's true that the JP cutscenes are shorter but they aren't that much shorter. Also, you can skip the cutscenes and they openly admitted to skipping the cutscenes. Literally in the chat by stating that if you disconnect or close your game and reopen it, then you skip the cutscene. They told us all off on how we were wasting time and after they admitted to skipping them they dropped an "Ez" in the chat.

Dear sage,
I know it's Malikah's Well. I know you're at level for the dungeon. I know your augmented scavean gear is mostly outdated in this dungeon, and I will give you some credit for melding materia onto your gear.
Even though the materia was mostly worthless.
There was absolutely no need to spam Diagnosis, your single-target heal, when it did very little recovery. There was no need to pop Lucid Dreaming when you were critical on your mp after spamming so much Diagnosis, even though it's actually better to pop Lucid when you're at 80% mp instead of popping it at 2%. The only other thing you spammed, besides single-target Dosis and Eukrasian Dosis, was Eurkasian Prognosis. You have other things in your kit that you can use to help out dark knight tanks. Like Haima, Toxicon, Taurochole/Kerachole, Phlegma, and even Holos.
Heck, you can also make use of Physis II to help regen not only the tank, but the party instead of spamming Prognosis. Or heck, even use Eurkasian Prognosis + Pepsis. The spam was the reason why you were always low on mp and not utilizing your kit very well.
Please read your tooltips. You've got 90 in every single job except for sage. I can't tell if you boosted every single DoW/M job available in the mogstation and just cruised along with crafters/gatherers or if you genuinely are that lazy by spamming 1/8th of your available kit.
It's why I've become extremely hesitant to go on any other tank save for war in roulettes, but my alts need exp.
Sincerely,
One exasperated DRK
Will put you on ignore if you can't form a logical argument but argue nonetheless
I didn't even know it was possible to run out of MP on normal dungeon stuff.
When you deal with human beings, never count on logic or consistency.
