

They actually displayed belts in 1.0 so you could actually mix match belts with sets. That was actually cool when I tried 1.0 back then. I think the consensus would be different they retained the models because they could simply add a emperors belt lol.I agree with OP. Belt and zipper memes work on standalone characters from the mainline series because they just wear the same shit and rarely change it or have to care about mixing and matching, but OP's own post demonstrates how the harsh belt divisions create tension when you try to mix different sets.
Probably the oddest thing was despite the belt fetishism, the actual belt accessories (when we had them) didn't even show.
