If you're going to limit yourself to riding only the newest ride at the theme park, of course you're going to get bored.

The reason others aren't getting bored is because they don't limit themselves to just that one ride. They enjoy the old rides just as much as the new.

If this were a sandbox, I'd agree with you. But it ain't.

The gameloop continues to invalidate itself year after year, and the old rides continue to get worse and worse. Also the combat and basic gameplay are just.. Not dynamic enough to have much joy in repeating. I have to play a Healer to find any reactive joy, but then I also have to play a Healer. lol

I would love if sync was more limited and didn't completely cripple all old content to being a joke.

There was a lot of new content added in Endwalker. It's fair to say that you haven't enjoyed it. Not everyone is going to like everything.

It's idiotic to pretend it doesn't exist and imply that others must be lying when they say they have things they're doing in game.

It's stagnant. 10 years of using the same cycle. 10 years. Half the new players I met only play solo. So I barely get that. The roulette system is showing its age as well. How many times does a group of 90 get Copperbell? How many people legitimately fall asleep during Prae? I'm not a game developer, and I don't have the awnsers, but the game is stagnant, pure and simple.

You know, this goes both ways, wherein people seem to have the perception that counter-criticisms and disagreements with said criticisms are as if they're a personal attack/insult.

Many people on the forum trying to play make belief as if they're somewhat 'above it' despite doing the self-same thing they're criticizing others for. Half of the people in this thread reap what they sow at this point.

Predictions for 7.0:
- The 1-2-3 combos become one button, gauges are removed and you just click things on cooldown, hitboxes are the size of the entire arena, tanks have mitigation automatically applied whenever there is a tankbuster, healers automatically let out massive pulses of healing after anyone takes damage.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if they start making ability combos and everything more like PvP.

I can respect that but when it's a

A: "I personally like what they're doing and want them to keep it up"

vs

B: "They need to innovate, get rid of 'x', 'y', and change 'z'"

you have to see that those two sides while maybe having some similar thoughts, are very different. What you see as obvious improvements, some people see as bad changes.

honestly I think the game is fine, but the jobs are not they are 2 brain dead game play wise you can say this or that but the fact is with all of these jobs after a certain level you can be watching netflix or playing another game and preform your job perfectly... There no real reaso n to pay attention to the game as you play it combat wise your essentially playing at autopilot because every single fight and class is basicly the same. The game is to dumb down to keep peoples attention, if they maade the jobs require a minuime of 5 braincells it would atleast be interactive but its not its so brain dead I could be zombie playing the game because it just muscle memory after you get your abilitys. I mean damn it even tells you what ability is next in line with a blinking square making it so you dont have to think at all..

Seriosely everything needs to be buffed 50x so we can actrually play the game its to esay to consinder it playing a game. you go in you get it done, you log out like a chore you do each day. the combat isnt interactive enough to make one care at all to be honest


like to be hoenst if i was going to use a cheat on ffxiv i would use it to make the game 200% harder not easyer
