All you can do is leave your feedback and maybe things get better. These forums have had a sad decline in constructiveness and all around treating each other decently when it comes to serious matters.

It's because there's 0 moderation and feedback isn't appreciated in any form. It's always attacked, so they're always attacked back. It's an endless cycle when there's no appropriate outlet for criticism and the community often attempts to snuff them out.

Im not expecting anything from just adding to a thread/Conversation. Its weird you think I need anything from that, or to once again treat me like some YoshiP defender for just saying "Ive been here longer and still have stuff to do" like that hurts you for some reason.

@VeolE unless you're an FC of one anyone part of your FC can reset the house timer. The only thing you have to log in for is if you're the FC lead so that you keep being the leader.

I appreciate all feedback and counter-feedback. But if you're gonna retort and say "But I have so much to do" maybe provide context into what you mean, so we can have an actual discussion instead of the only contribution you're providing is a counter with no point. It's just "Nuh uh!"

As we've ALL discussed - XIV has a huge problem with no middle-ground content unless it's egregious achievement hunting. I feel like this is where WoW is shining right now, it provides pretty good 'midcore' content that allows us to just hop in anytime and expect a challenge with any group of people. Kinda like how Eureka and Bozja worked, but that doesn't really exist in long form, and it also doesn't append to normal gameplay. Our 'midcore' is always a completely separate game mode, it may as well be a minigame most of the time.

So when people say they have so much to do, they're usually talking about Raid, or Achievements. If you look at the Census, only a small minority of players even do Savage. It's especially low for NA.

I don't know about you, but I don't want to get locked down to a static of salty players. I've had enough experience in both XIV and years of MMOs to just not enjoy that type of content. So I expect more difficult content with hop-in/hop-out opportunities.


Just imagine here for a quick moment, WoW Shadowlands with no overworld content, no quests, no rewards, but they have Torghast. That's basically XIV right now.

Why don't you expand on the "plenty to do" content that came out in EW that you're doing? Remember - having things to do from older expansions doesn't count as content within the context of the current expansion. It doesn't matter if you're working on a ShB relic right now or farming mounts from Stormblood, that isn't CURRENT content. What do you have to do from Endwalker?

Ah, with this restriction. I have things to do.
Savages/EXs I haven't cleared, Ultimites Im still trying to gain the mental fortitude to attempt, Master crafting Recipes, the Stadium turn-in quests (They have a name I forget what it is), Raising all of my Crafters, side quests that could expand the lore of the game, Sightseeing log, Criterion Dungeon runs, Deep Dungeon Runs, getting all of the relics (which will just take time) Running CC and Frontlines to level my Milestones/Battlepass. Finally start my Island Sanctuary, do the Moogletrove more seriously instead of passively.....I think thats what I got off the top of my head for "Current EW"
But with FFXIV as a whole, I have Plenty to do!....but I think you established you arnt interested in that.

All I'm saying is that the only thing you were providing to the discussion was effectively just gaslighting people saying you have so much content to do (While playing Apex), and then didn't elaborate. So it just comes off as generally combative with no constructive discussion. So I'm not sure what you're trying to gain, unless you just completely miscalculated how you'd come off.

LOL That would require them actually adding things to the achievement vendor. So probably never.
