Fun little factoid. While the delay itself was technically accurate, they lied about the cycle itself. If you look back at Stormblood, every single patch was already 16 weeks (occasionally longer). Then came the aforementioned two week addition starting with Endwalker however that length has actually doubled beginning from 6.2 which lasted 20 weeks (five months) and 6.3 will either be 19 or 20 weeks depending on the release date. So they snuck in a month delay despite saying it would only be two weeks while also claiming patch cycles were 3.5 months when they haven't been for several years now.

For reference sake, I purposefully avoided 5.1 onward due to Covid delays. Hence looking at Stormblood and Heavensward, which both saw 16-17 week patch cycles.
