They do. All of them. Yoshi said as much in an Asmon interview. They play alongside us all the time.

I was unaware of this, but knew and was hoping someone would point out if this was indeed the case. Like I said earlier, it is difficult for the dev team to relate to the playerbase from purely a development level, and immersion is needed. While I still think it is not necessary to disclose this to the playerbase, it is still very heart warming and promising that I now know that they do this.
