Is the amount of PF parties even a good metric to measure the liveliness of the game? Most players don't even use it, but they're still playing.

Yeah I've only ever heard of PF being used for statics, farms, and RP announcements. And there is waaaay more in the game than just that stuff.

The DF isn't the issue. Everyone quit or is using trusts. That PF posting has the very specific goal of wanting company in an MMO, something hard to do when there isn't content to keep players engaged and when the game just pushes you to do the content with bots instead of people.

Just took a peep at primal, as of this minute 1 dungeon, 6 trials, 5 raids,16 high-end,1 FATE,1 field op and 50 other, yup totally "dead"

Oh my god, a WHOLE 26 parties, on a saturday evening at prime time, and we are happy about that, LMAO

And the "other" tab is literally all venues, there are double the parties for venues than for endgame content

Meanwhile on EU WoW, at 3:40 am, there are about 120 parties recruiting, for endgame content ONLY, at 3:40 AM in the morning.

Why so angry, lots of people (including me) don't use PF just DF? Also if wow's so hoppin', why aren't you there? Here's a different anecdotal evidence for though, my brother picked wow back up two months ago. I watched him run around for a while to see if the new expac would be worth it, there were only around half a dozen people in the MAIN HUB.This was on the weekend during primetime btw.

Trust me, you DONT have to use PF to get a player group to run an msq dungeon. I play alts in this game, and I have one currently in base ARR and for the last few weeks Ive been using DF just as always to get some people to do the dungeons with no problem at all.

The person probably was caught doing it at a bad hour or didnt think to use DF to forming a group because they believed that nobody would be running it because of trusts...which is absolutely stupid because the dungeon is part of the roulette pool so it'll always have people running it anyway.

False. You dont need PF to form player made groups for basic msq dungeons. Ive used the DF for low level characters on an alt all the time and I havent ran into the situation where the queue is so bad I need to form a PF.
