I agree! They should also have no fur, no muscles and make it so the difference in clans is one has fangs and the other doesn't! Also the clans will be called Seekers of the Sun and Keepers of the Moon. They should also change the race name to Miqo'te, since FFXIV doesn't have a race named this yet.

Yeah... I just don't see them making the females look as Beast-like as the males. I'm sure the Furry fans are hoping as such but c'mon now. That's just not very likely.

They should be muscular/toned though and fur on their bodies to a degree.

Weren't Hrothgar inspired by FFX ronsos? If that's the case, they will look like female Ronso from FFX. There too much respect for other FF in this game for them to pull that kind of switcheroo.

Of course, they will make them more human-like, as they know that 90% of their player base consists of Miqo'te, Au Ra, or Viera, and aside from a niche group, few appreciate beast like furry characters. To many, Hrothgar represents a bestiality fetish, which they dislike as much as Lalafell, who remind them of young children or pedophilia. If you need evidence, look at the Elezen. Typically, elves are a popular race, but few choose to play these giraffe role models, a missed opportunity that cannot be changed due to lore restrictions, a mistake they do not wish to repeat with female Hrothgar.

There's many reasons people don't play Elezen. Personally, I was one for around 3 months at one point in SHB. I stopped because I got tired of two things, one, trying to work around the neck being so long (most glams draw more attention to how weirdly long it is), and two, running like she has an entire broomstick wedged in her backside. Also I naturally gravitated more towards the energetic emote animations of Highlanders. But yeh, saying 'lots of people like elves, but dont play Elezen here, it MUST be because tall = not popular' and using that as reasoning to make another race's females be demure and short is really not sensible. Again, see the examples of the hackjob mod some unethical player made, being put on a femroe body instead of the mi'qote body the modder slapped the face on (seriously, why did they put it on a mi'qote it's like they wanted to make it look ugly as hell). And if anyone can say, hand on heart, that they prefer the race in the below pictures, aesthetically speaking, to the femroe-examples, I'll be shocked and slightly confused:

If you listen to basically every thread that mentions the Scions, we're all required to hate Y'shtola. And also the other Scions too. I think it's in the TOS now.
