Island Sanctuary - "Sustainable Sourcing III" Achievement not like the others...

Some of those achievements simply require to do an activity regularly (like hunts) and play the game for long enough. However there are those are are plain stupid that either encourage unhealthy and obsessive behaviour or botting. I think the worse one is the 20k accursed horde.

The mentor roulette and hunt mark achievements reward a title, mount, etc. Those are pretty rare and nice to see. I'd be proud of my achievement if I had one of those. There is no title/reward for 30,000 items on the island. Some people just like seeing all the achievements checked off for certain areas of the game. Sometime later this month and early next month, the "gather 5000/2500/2000 crops/leavings/granary items" will be obtainable. For some players, the only Island achievement left is the gathering 30,000 items.

It is irrelevant.. and also the gathering thing you CAN DO ANYTIME... some of the hunts and more to it requires actual spawning time of S ranks and more to it than what the eye see.... the gathetring of 30000 items you can do over a week or less.... getting 10000 hoards can take months/years... getting the hunt achievements you can't just do in two weeks... it can take months...and for most a year unless am totally no lifing the content.

NO you DON'T need to bar in the Island Sancutary gathering achievement with some fancy mount or whatever... it is not like you need to gather 1.000.000 items, which would somewhat be a better comparison to some of the real HARSH to do achievements out there.

So man or woman yourself up andstart gathering, if you need it so badly.

That's a good take. There's a lot more involved (and collaboration) with hunts. For this particular achievement, the only gatekeeper is the player. Either do it. Or don't. It doesn't affect anything in the game - other than adding 20 points to your achievement count.

Collect 20000 hoards from Deep Dungeons... accomplish 10000 dungeons/instances... craft items of HQ 10000 times... do 10000 fates.

I don't see what you are coming after and for, some of the achievements REALLY am things you need to grind for, so nope what I mentioned to play other MMO's where achievements is a linear system would be better for you, if you need it that much that is, also if you want something you better work for it, and the final steps usually has a much larger margain than the steps before and with good reason.

And you keep failing to acknowledge the point others are making.

It is a grind achievement for those who like grinds.

You don't like the grind? Then don't do the achievement. You don't miss out on anything by not doing it. It offers no reward. It doesn't gate keep any other achievement that does.

If you're set on getting the achievement despite it being pointless except as a time filler, then set aside time to grind it out. The more time you devote to actually working on the achievement instead of complaining about it, the sooner you will be done.

I am litterally just pointing out how it works, I don't miss the point, if you want the achievement gather 30000 items in Sanctuary Island, also IT IS an easy achievement to get, unlike some of the others I have mentioned, stop yourself NOW.

It is a grind achievement and one of the easy ones to get as you just need to walk around and pick up things from the ground 30.000 times, it is not even a difficult one to do and it is one you can do quick, unlike collecting 10.000 hoards... or getting the Centurio Tiger.... which is achievements that is seriously long grinds.

I didn't miss the point, the OP just want everythign handed to him or her without putting any work in it, even if it is an easy thing to do, so just stop?

I'm at 22,914/30,000 for that achievement, which I mostly acquired from grinding exp from Rank 8 to 10 and then Rank 11 to 12. Some achievements are just because you participated. Some are a grind and others are over time. All sorts of different ways. I don't see a problem with it. Do it or don't.

Yeah, this one is a bit ridiculous and pretty much encourages botting. Have everything this island has to offer with only a little over 6k gathered. I can't wait to see Cider Spider attempt this one.

Is that really what players have come to? Botting things on a list just because and not because there's a reward to earn?
