I like how they removed the relic grind because they thought people hated the grind and not the fact that it was just how Eureka/Bozja needed QoL features like not having CLL be COMPLETELY RANDOM AND SCREWING YOU OVER IF YOU DON'T HAVE SEVERAL HOURS TO WASTE IDLING.

"You guys got mad at the grind" no we got mad at de-leveling and the fact that you kept making us run antitower or having to do the stupid kettle light collecting AGAIN even though it was the most despised portion of the OG ARR relic grind.

Just fix it! Don't abandon it because you got a little bruised from the critique just FIX IT.

I think it was good not to tie the relic to zones with a definite shelf life. They can still make the adventure zone content. Just let it stand on its own feet as what it is. And let the relic questline utilize that area as a possible option, so those who like that content can get updates there, but still have other options for those who don't like that content. I've seen the argument made that they are doing exactly that with the tomestones and that is true. But that seems a little too broad. A handful of specific choices that have a good spread for a given step would be ideal. Kind of like how WT behaves.

    I agree with this.

I do enjoy Eureka and Bozja in some ways, but in addition to the faults the content had on release, it also has the fault of being on a time limit. I will never get to experience either of them as content at their best because they're both older optional zones. The relics if anything are what keeps those zones alive in a lot of ways.

I know a lot of the older generation hates the idea of "turning their MMO into a single player game" but that's not really what I'm hinting at. I'm more so saying that developers need to add fail safes to older content that is super group orientated. I know even more people are going to laugh, saying that only current content matters and that if you care so much about older content it's your responsibility to find other willing players for it but... I mean really? It's a game, not a job, and finding players for older content sometimes feels like one, especially when half the players who join you are doing it as charity work or out of pity. It's the developers job to ensure that content is still playable in a similar fashion to how it was intended to be on release when the content was more active, because if they can't do that then they really may as well just delete the content.
