Stop waiting for cutscenes in alliance raids. We never did this in Stormblood.

I dont understand how if someone chooses to watch a cutscene for the 500th time, that the game allows them to do, and in fact makes them immune while doing it, thats any different than the first time? Sure, it might not seem reasonable or something that you or I would want to do but if someone wants to watch a cutscene again, so be it. Im reaching 2 years in this game and there are still some cut scenes I like to watch. The Nier raids come to mind, and anything involving a certain Ascian, to be honest.

Farming gwibs, you were probably in a pre-made or party finder group right? If it bothers you so much, make your own party and note that the group will not be watching cutscenes.

So it's not being abused because the game hasn't put in limits and I have the option to make my own pf? Interesting.

But let's just ignore the disrespect in a farm party. Not a clear party, a farm party. There are certain expectations when in farm parties; know the fight and be efficient. The less time each run takes, the more runs you can do before people get burnt out. The more runs you do, higher chance of everyone getting their mount.

Do your part. You're there to help each other get the mount.

Not queueing is a solution.

Just pull your weight if its about your precious " Time ". Use Pots and Tinctures and stop sucking at dealing DPS with whatever Job you're taking into said raids if those 20 seconds matters that much to you...

I've had alliance duties that took longer due to poor DPS than ones where we had to wait for cutscenes.

Either way, I don't expect things to go my way when using duty roulette, so it's no skin off my bones.

Prepare for what? Repeating mechanics you’ve seen many times that they may even be effected by muscle memory by this point?

If ppl want to watch their cs, no one is stopping them. Pulling does nothing. Not worth yet another cry thread over it

You do not realize the roulett is there so first timers get their duty in the first place lol. If not for them, you would need to run the highest duty till your eyes bleed.

----Because Ive been new before, and very much appreciated people being patient so I can enjoy my 1st experience of the game. So I in turn wait for them so they can have a good experience. Its part of why I still think FFXIV has a great community....ignoring most of the playerbase on this Forum.

----This is true, and people said this with Prae back in the day. And I did it once....the experience isnt the same. The cutscenes are a million times better when you have your random party members with you, making everyone involved, adding a tiny bit of Immersion that me ad my party are here together. Watching it all back at the Inn where you are by yourself, it isnt the same.
