Theme of the day: stack markers

Alright, greentext style because no screenshots, it's practical
> Normal Raid Roulette
> Eden Leviathan
> Normal fight at first
> Leviathan deletes the center segments of the arena
> 5 out of 8 dead, survivors are me, Healer, and my Dance Partner
> Dance Partner was dealing more damage than me(as they should that's a whole 5% extra damage with 100% uptime I am giving them), so they get targeted first
> Unavoidable damage, they die, they did their best
> I get targeted next
> Shield Samba, Curing Waltz, Improvisation, Second Wind, must hold the fort
> Leviathan does a number of mechs so he isn't auto'ing for a while, that's good
> Tankbuster, that's it for me, I did my best
> Healer brought a Tank back up while Leviathan is casting, we can still recover
> Healer brings second Healer up next, second Healer starts rezzing DPS, starting with the NIN
> LB3 clicks in place, things are still extremely rough, obvious solution is Healer LB3, I call for it in chat as I am still floortanking
> NIN hits LB3 without an ounce of hesitation
That felt like such a gargantuan "bruh" moment, we still recovered after that, but because Healer LB3 cleanses Weakness, we would have gotten more damage out of the Healer LB3 than out of the NIN LB3, I was glaring at the screen for the rest of the fight...

Ok that made me laugh. Dude needs to play FF12 up till the point Balthier talks about gambits and to prioritize Vitality over Violence because that's a good life lesson right there.Alright, greentext style because no screenshots, it's practical

So today I learned that there is no vuln stack cap in the Tiamat Clone fight. Guy we had encountered a pc crash mid-fight and he hit 17 vuln stacks before I just couldn't sustain him anymore, the damage was just too much.
Wish I took a pic before he died though. I'd thought it would cap at 8-12, not 17.
This one is beyond your help. Only sleep can save her now.

17? Wow. That's impressive to have 16 stacks and somehow still survive. So today I learned that there is no vuln stack cap in the Tiamat Clone fight. Guy we had encountered a pc crash mid-fight and he hit 17 vuln stacks before I just couldn't sustain him anymore, the damage was just too much.

When you deal with human beings, never count on logic or consistency.
Fluid like water. Smooth like silk. Pepperoni like pizza.
There should be an achievement title for a person who can survive long enough to collect that many vuln stacks. The healer keeping them alive should earn a separate title, too.So today I learned that there is no vuln stack cap in the Tiamat Clone fight. Queued up for Alliance raid, get Aglaia, which I don't mind, because another coin to the collection. MT in A dies to Rhalgr flinging his body over the edge from first knockback, so I take over as MT. SGE in my party decides to use Rescue on me before second Broken World goes off, so naturally, I'm slightly disoriented and confused but run back to the boss because he was casting and didn't follow. After we beat Rhalgr, I say in party chat the Rescue was kind of unnecessary. Their response?
"If you wanted better positioning, it would help to pull it there"
Okay??? I didn't want better positioning, so I respond if the raid was still current content, then yes, giving the DPS better positioning would help, but all the bosses melt now. I can understand Rescue'ing if I'm standing in a orange puddle, but this seemed like a waste of time.

Just had a Sunken Temple of Quarn with a CNJ healer, yeah I was not a happy tank but I was too tired to say anything. I just wanted my single daily run before hitting the hay, dagnabbit!
