For #1: Autodemos occur at specific times, so the email waves occur at the start of the day based on the day the autodemo is scheduled for. It is always at minimum 9 days before the autodemo.

For #3: The email explicitly says the following:

There have been several reports of people entering their houses, and checking their timers to make sure auto demo is reset. Then 2 days later they get an email that the same house they just reset is about to demo. There are also a handful of people who don't get a notification at all for whatever reason, even if that email works fine for all other SE notifications.

Thank you for posting an image of the demolition notice. I've never seen one in it's entirety. As you said, making a case for FCs would be a stretch, and reading the whole email would have saved people. In the past couple months there have been a couple posts on twitter about people gardening, using their target dummies, checking their mail, and they assumed that was "accessing their estate." Until their house went poof. Maybe if they had read the whole email, their houses would have been saved.
