Not once since open beta have I ever even been able to find an EXP pt.

I utilize LFP, search, etc. I even resort to shouting, I try for an hour every day during NA primetime lol

Have gotten multiple jobs to 50 solo through leves... pretty demoralizing

    1. Go into the main menu and click "Search".
    2. Click on your name under the "Your Settings" box.
    3. Click on your "Online Status".
    4. There is a box you need to check that says "Seeking Party."
    5. Great! Now go to "Preferred Class" and click that box.
    6. Check the box(es) beside any class you'd like to play.
    7. Go to search comment and write a specific message or notes regarding your "situation".
    8. And you get xp!
    9. Wait...
    10. ...w-what?
    11. Jeez mon, I've been at this for 20minutes and now I have to wait for an invite to party?
    12. WTF?

Suggestion: Give me 2500xp for getting through the menu system.

I'll be perfectly happy with the current Search function if they can:

    1) Add in Autotranslate to the comment box -- I know people can understand a little bit of English, especially common terms, but I'd just feel a lot more comfortable if I can use Autotranslate.

    2) Let me search by name -- Where are my friends?! It's nice to see them online but sometimes I just want to surprise them by hanging out.

    3) ... not SE's fault but have more people use it, even in its current state! Though I think the added (!) bubble in the future will help people use it more. Crossing fingers.

If you use it more than once it's pretty easy and fast to set your status.

It did take me a couple of minutes to figure it out the first time but biggest problem is lack of others using it. I will be seeking a party with a good comment only to have a guy standing next to me shouting for a group I would be perfect fit for...

Perhaps I have a bad reputation?

But yes, auto-translate, ability to copy and paste to it, perhaps even save your comment so you don't have to type it all in again every time your pt breaks up or you relog.

Wow on Mysidia I have had loads of parties, and I see loads of shouts on Gungnir.

I think some servers are shoutier than others, and the shout area isn't huge so you can be standing in the wrong place to hear them. We have party shouts for lots of level ranges and lots of activities every night when I play. Still needs more LFG searching...

If you use it four times, that's 10k xp right there! I like the way you think.

Wow, really? Since server merge, I've gotten invites & seen shouts [in Ul'dah, near Aeth area] for non-PL Exp PTs for 20s, 30s, and 40s all during EST evenings on Gungnir! And I've gotten a handful of invites for putting up my search flag. (Always happy when people find me this way. :3)

    Sorry for another late response!

Currently the dev. team are hard at work on other tasks that have a higher priority, so unfortunately, they won't be able to include the use of auto-translate in the party search feature in the current version.

In version 2.0, the old party search feature ("Party" in the main menu) will be removed and some of its features replaced with the content finder. We would like for players to use the content finder and player search feature ("Search" in the main menu) for parties in 2.0. We'll be sure to keep the auto-translate feature in mind.
