I had a post about that on the forums if you haven't liked the post already. I've been lazy and not kept it active, but hey, it's there because I agree 100%.

I discovered rather painfully with my sister there can be unexpected reasons people don't get their job stones.

SHe tells me she needs gear so I have a look at her and realize shes level 45 with no stone and yes she needs gear. So I ask "Why didn't you do your bard quests?"

Her answer "I don't want to be a musician I want to be an archer." Yes she is that new to the game.

It took me about 15 minutes to get her to understand that Bard is an extension of her archer. She doesn't LOSE the ability to fight with a bow she merely gains more abilities.
