FFXIV will probably have a playable demo. Its hard to convince everyone you have a new engine if you dont actually show the new engine. Its even harder to say "this game is totally different" if you dont actually...show the game. Isn't this common sense lol? Anyone who thinks itll just be a cgi trailer is off their rocker.

Exactly.. they HAVE to show the game.. or else it will most likely lead to FFXIV doom otherwise.. Thats way I'm 99.999999999% sure they will have a lot more then a CGI Trailer... they only told us 1 thing that will be at E3.. they never said anything nothing else was going to be at E3 about FFXIV.

They had a Playable Build at E3 the year FFXIV Launched... why is this any different with the re-launch of the game?

The point was that now we have live letters so its more likely we will get news about 2.0 via that then through an event designed for a separate game.

Yes. I'm afraid that they won't have enough time to make a playable build or even an in-game trailer. A lot of pple seem to be so sure they will have big plans for XIV but don't be disappointed if you only get teased.

I think this would be disastrous if they did this, I'm sure they have something big planned its their best chance at getting new positive buzz in the media before 2.0's launch.
