What is not fine is being petty, not being able to compromise, letting someone die on purpose (because I as a healer can play this game too, I will focus on healing dps, because tank is busy playing "uwu dps dared to pull before me, his/her majesty", and I will let it slide once, but if you continue playing this bs, I will let you die while healing dps and then since you refuse to do your job on purpose, which is tanking, you will have to find another group because you're not staying in mine). The entire party sets up the pace, not just someone in particular.
Also, tank's job is to soak up damage, not pull ( unless it's raids ). Pulling can be done by anyone.
Better make space for teamplay, because no one has time for your ego play.
you know, you had me on board, even letting your equally toxic "i will let you die while healing dps" thing. that was until i read the very stupid statement "Also, tank's job is to soak up damage, not pull ( unless it's raids). Pulling can be done by anyone".

that is very stupid and its apparent you never played tank once in the time you played ffxiv. tanks primary job is to not only pull the mobs in but to gain all their aggro and soak up damage while their team does their thing. like their kits all have skills meant to pull, aoe aggro etc. I can let the last sentence slide because yes, anyone can but its not their actual role too. healers heal, dps boot stomp, tanks PULL.

the mentality of anyone can just perpetuates the speed running mentality. which is a huge problem. like if you don't got the time don't queue. you need to expect any and all types of players and adjust accordingly. I also see you brought up raids. raids are a different set of content within the game. the mentality talked about here is seen in dungeons, not raid content.
