That's something people actually get mad about?I've been seeing a bit of hate for it in my home server recently, although none of it has been directed at me. I don't really mind, I'm not going going to scream racism like this is irl, but it has made me curious.
Do people not like Miqo'te without facial markings? I've been thinking of fantaing lately, not necessarily for the facial markings but for some other things. I'm thinking about changing that as well too and I'm curious to see what people think.
Why!?
Sounds like a conspiracy. My issue with clan markings is that they're a hit or miss with glam options. Some just look strange with the markings. Also feel like they make your character look younger somehow. Especially face 3 markings.
wut? I thought that face was everyone’s favourite not that it is hated

I find the markless faces a little dull, if I'm being honest.

Honestly I never really consciously notice the markings on my Miqo'te! I will say, I like the little bit of extra character it adds, but mine is super light, and almost unnoticeable with the hair style.
I don't really care what other people do, but I do prefer some markings.
For RP purposes, I'd generally stick with face paint for Family markings. They don't require a Fantasia to modify.
I chose Keeper because I wanted pointy teeth, not because of their facial markings. I can't fathom why some players apparently don't like Miqo'te without the marks.
Then again, I haven't ever chosen a face or race in this game because of the markings. Although the Eye of Enlightenment on certain Lalafell are kind of neat.

I have no strong feelings one way or the other.
Also, as a Keeper, all of the face options have markings... Some of them are less prominent though.
Face mark specially face 3 makes you look like a permanent " :3 ".
