Strider Boots and Hermes' Shoes

hermes shoes won't be readded. it was a 1.0 item and people were already up in arms with the earrings that yoshi p added to the first anniversary event. as for the strider boots. its anemos. so unless you want him to pull it out of there and just make it buyable in any city state then people will have to do anemos to farm them. then they would have to change them from untradeable so they could be sold on mb for anyone to acquire.

Hermes' Shoes were, specifically, if you held a FFXI sub at the same time after 1.0 released. I have them.

Strider Shoes, yes, come from Eureka, but we've already had items from there come into the moogle tome event. Untradeables are also present in the moogle tome events in the way of mount whistles and TT cards, so it wouldn't matter if they kept that status. They're not as frustrating to get as, say, the Cassie earring or the Cassie minion, but adding them in to the rewards wouldn't be a bad thing since Eureka on some DCs is not as active as Crystal or whatever. It's not unreasonable to ask for just the Strider Boots in this case.

You had to link your PlayOnline account to your SE account. On top of that it was given to only 1 character and not an account perk like some of the other stuff from back then.

That explain it since my first characters is on JP servers. Other part think tried to link them and gave up since not good at that type of stuff.

If a PlayOnline ID with an active FINAL FANTASY XI Content ID is linked to a Square Enix account with a FINAL FANTASY XIV service account, all new characters created on that FINAL FANTASY XIV service account will start out possessing an in-game bonus item. However, you cannot obtain in-game bonus item or will take long period of time to obtain one under following conditions.

- If you have created a character before linking your PlayOnline ID (It is, however, possible to receive the in-game item by deleting the characters you created, linking your PlayOnline ID, and then re-creating your characters).
- If, at the time of creating your FINAL FANTASY XIV character, the linked PlayOnline ID’s FINAL FANTASY XI Content IDs are invalid (the Content IDs have been cancelled and are thus not being billed).
*In case you reactivate the FINAL FANTASY XI Content IDs, it will take about a day until in-game bonus item becomes obtainable.
- If the linked PlayOnline ID’s FINAL FANTASY XI is in the free trial period.

So, if you didn't make a FFXIV account under the same SE account as your XI account and did not have an active Content ID that wasn't a free trial or cancelled, you wouldn't get the item. If you had an active service account and added the XIV one to the same service account, you got the shoes.
