Having Sprint be a toggle in city states like it is in PvP would be better than mounts.

Having mount clutter amongst already players that have annoying tendencies (like afking infront of NPCs) ? Nope, I'm good.
I just can't help it. Work is slow today, and this keeps me occupied.
Reel me in, OP.
I read the title as "edible mounts in cities".
Lol I can imagine the giant mount wars…as if Limsa wasn’t bad enough already.
One easy thing they could do is to remove Fleet-footed as an fc action and add it as a permanent character unlock. There could be a quest to unlock the longer sprint.

Mounts in Cities? No.why cant we use mounts in cities lol it takes so long to run around lisma losmina because you can only walk and sprint every min. plus if you get a cool mount you cant show off anywhere because everyone just afk in lisma losmina anyway... would be so epic to see everyone mounts in cities. some people will complain about lag but i already lag in lisma anyways so
PVP Sprint in Cities? Yes.
Besides the teleports around the cities do well enough. So the PvP Sprint will cover the rest.
No. It made at least somehow sense in WoW, where you could not teleport around the city, but in FF there's literally no reasonable argument to justify mount usage in cities.
It really doesn't take uncomfortably long to get around cities. Those who want to show off their mounts, have plenty other opportunities. Show off glams instead in cities.
Additionally, big hubs are incredibly crowded, at least on NA servers. Imagine any aetheryte area surrounded by people on mounts. No, thanks. Never.
Pay your surgeon very well to break the spell of ageing.
For current cities, no. For future cities that are made with mounts in mind, sure why not. Think Mor Dhona, Idyllshire & Rhalgr's Reach.
