Mao suggests making third Au Ra Faction

Mao remembers seeing pictures of original concept arts for Au Ra. Was amazings. So much more dragon-likes. Claws, scales all over body, longer tails. Would be nice if were to be introduced as progenitor race to other two. Makes them more primative and more ferals. Mao would not even mind if meant no hats, boots or gloves for Mao. Mao would switch in heartsbeat. Mao would be willings to wear rags if Mao could switch to such a race.

Not for me but I do know quite a number who would love this edition. They said no more new races after Female Hrothgar was made...but nothing about new sub races!

I'd enjoy more dragoney people as well, but they said no new races because it increases the workload for everything in the game to do so. So making a new subrace that has significantly different body shapes and features is the same thing. Very likely they would not do this for the exact same reason.

That why Mao said Mao would be glad to gives up boots and gloves and hat if Mao could looks like Au Ra in concept art. Maybe even just wear rags. Surely thats would make adding in new sub race little bits easier.

You might be willing to give it up, but other people would complain endlessly about "limited race" and "SE's so lazy" and "small indie company". It'd be the Viera and Hrothgar situation all over again.

I would just ask for more playable clans rather than make an already overrated race be the special case once again by giving them a 3rd clan for them only.
