SE needs to do something about all the hate bait trolls in these forums

Why people are willing to make new accounts to troll the forums on topics that aren't even funny to troll about, I do not know. For some paying 15$ extra just to make a troll post is worth it to them. It makes no sense, and only shows immaturity.

Regardless, these hate posts do damage, and people don't seem to understand that. Parody doesn't take long to be reality, and an influx of hate posts even if in jest can cause bullying.

I wish the mods were more active in removing these posts, as someone who is a minority, it is starting to make this community feel uncomfortable. I've seen hate for LGBT+ surging in actual worlds now, and I can only help but wonder if these posts are motivating aggressive, and hateful rhetoric.

Yeah nah, that's not how it works. I'm bisexual and I dont need bisexual npcs in the game to feel represented, nor do I need validation from a video game. Also "the gayer the better" is basically the opposite of what you preach, "dont be agaisnt lgbtq" and then you write exactly the same but on the other side.

This is not the forum post for that. We can debate about this in another thread, what I am complaining about is the blatant hate posts that seem to pop up every day. It's not good for our community, and the lack of action is really starting to grind my gears.

I would agree, if what you were talking about is an unwarranted hatred towards the game, the dev team, or SE. However you're making this about LGBT, spouting off some rhetoric nonsense about, "The gayer, the better." If you want to know why there is an escalating hatred towards this community, it likely has a lot to do with the fact they they feel the need to interject their value systems into every nook and cranny of people's everyday lives and they are getting really fed up with it. If any action needs to be taken, it's removing BS threads that have nothing to do with FFXIV, complaints about lack of representation, and issuing bans to posters who don't comply.

It's a really good thing that my enjoyment in game heavily outweighs the psychobabble that takes place in the social circles. Good grief.

100% agreed. The amount of far right fascism in this forum is alarming.
