So, Ive noticed this for years now.
It sounds like their Panels Talk about the game and things within the world. Its sort of a Fun & Chill Hang with the Devs sort of deal.
Questions around this theming seems to be representative of this.

Meanwhile the Forum here, or maybe even other places, expect it to be their chance to ask about Gameplay Features and to get info on the Future of the game.
These questions always seem to get ignored.
So it gives me the feel that they arn't "Hard questions" moreso just not questions to be asked and addressed for this type of Event.
But of course I say that, but cant say or fathom when exactly they may actually take on and address these types of questions presented to them.

I think we just misunderstood the topic. It was vague and unclear. Asking a question about your adventures could mean about game mechanics you had experiences with, and questions about the development team's path on the journey to the 10th anniversary could include anything, including about development and including about the present and future prior to the 10th anniversary. It was just not written or translated well in my opinion.

I mean yeah, but there were plenty of questions like when will Blue Mage get an update next? that they could have also just as easily answered. While also making the game look good. There also have been many times when they do about a 50/50 with the questions. Or have a broader spectrum of questions asked then what we got for this one. As Jeeqbit said the question presented to the players was vague and unclear. A person even asked for more clarification and yet didn't get responded to.

Okay, so I watched it.. And I don't think fluff questions are necessarily bad. But the questions they answered were 90% just about Yoshi-P.

This is the problem. He's on such a high pedestal now that they use the panel to just give Yoshi-P attention.. What about all of the other devs? What about what the team struggles with, and has had to endure these past 10 years?

Why does this have to be about personal reflection? It's just inflating ego at this point.

It's like Steve Jobs with better hair. Give Yoshi a turtleneck and we'll be on our way.

I have a sneaking suspicion that particular BLU question is something dealing with content coming in the 6.4 patches, and thus will be answered by the next live letter. Which may be why they ignored that particular one, as it's a question we'll be getting an answer to very shortly.

Certain questions just don't necessarily illicit any meaningful response for a variety of reasons, so for many questions, even if they were to answer them, I don't think they would get answered in the way that the community expects, and we'd just be back to this same square now.

I know I shouldn't have been too surprised that they tossed Yoshida so many softball questions and only deviated from the topic of the next 10 years. Yet when questions that have 80 likes don't even get picked and they chose one that only got one like. It just makes you wonder why did you even bother with liking most of the questions that got a lot of likes or even ask your question.

The one question that wasn't related to the topic was even dumb and shows how so many don't lurk in any lore discord sections or the lore section of these forums. Along with only knowing the name of the item in the English version. And that's what's the Heart of Sobeak. It's just black auracite. As it's literally just called Black Auracite Sobeak in the other languages. I doubt we'll learn much more about it.

You'd be surprised. They have in the past even if the answer is just we can't say anything right now, but we'll touch on it in the next LLP. Anyone who asked to fix Healers or give Kaiten back to Sam shouldn't have expected anything. Yet part of the reason why I bring up Blue is a lot of the questions that asked things about it were the ones that got a fair amount of likes. Which they say is meant to be how to try and get said topic brought up at these Q&As. That and they've been fairly radio silent about anything pertaining to Blue. Except for the joke about thinking about that Blue pvp only content.

I also don't think anyone was fully expecting questions that led to answers such as Yoshida likes to do people watching on patch days. Or that he is the BLM in the Healer Adjust meme. Or "shocker" he gave us the all the expansions are his favorite child... Except for the one he made an entire game from. This time with more Kaiju battles. That you know we might get a cross over with XVI but only if the producer of XVI can be sweet talked into it. He hears they're supposed to be at a panel tomorrow.
