As much as I love the achievements...

He is not and I'll tell you why. After achievements are put in, you both have to complete 3000 synths. He does not have an advantage over you at all, since that extra work you did was completed before he even started.

he is and i will tell you why. by the time i get a luminary tool in game, which i am working towards, i will have done number of synths required twice. the synths i completed were completed in final fantasy xiv so it is no sort of an advantage to have the synths completed in this game to be counted towards an achievement in this game. if i had asked for the synths that were done in xi to be counted towards this game then it would be asking for an advantage, but not counting the things that have been done in this game does give another an advantage.

i spent millions in each class leveling the craft. can we all agree with grinding comes costs if you buy your own shards? i spent the gil to level the craft once already. the other person has not spent that gil to level the craft. telling me to do it again and them to do it once puts them at multiple millions of gil in an advantage because it has already been sent once.

nobody is asking for any type of advantage over new people, but they are asking to not be disadvantaged because they have already done the work once. hell i went as far back as saying even if it was only 1/4 credit towards it for people that were 50's already would be fine. it's just a slap in the face for those that have already went through once.

was about to say that, heh I think at best we can hope for though doubtful would be some credit based on your level as there is no way to really know what we actually dd ebfore hand. I realize why they did it, just frustrating and annoying. As pointed out biggest thing is, someone that goes 1-50 now gets exp and credit toawrds his achievement, now I don't get the exp, so everything I do time/money and such is just for achievement. Oh well will have to see how things work out heh. Just main thing is no reason for me to go fish/log/mine in most regions other then achivements, no exp, money I would get from selling isn't worth it, maybe a bit for crafting achievments but we all know the chances of getting the material you want/need isn't really sucessful at times heh.

its already been asked and denied that we will ever get retroactive credit so asking over and over again at this point like some people seem to bve doing really is pointless

everything you gain from them is a bonus, not a screwing, we coulda, i dont know, not gotten ANY reward from any of them, and then you wouldnt even have that to worry about?
