Both play pretty much opposite to eachother.
Dragoon:
• Being a melee job, it feels more involved in fights, especially because of positionals.
• You’ll need to mind the multitude of jump abilities you perform. They briefly and dangerously lock you in place.
• During their burst phases, they are very busy with a bloated number of abilities to be used in a short amount of time.
• Besides for Battle Litany, you can ignore your teammates completely.
Summoner:
• Simple to a fault, it arguably gives the most laid back experience out of all jobs in the game.
• Because it has next to no hard-cast spells, you feel as free as a bird on the battlefield.
• Their burst phases are pretty lax with buttons to press.
• If you like to feel helpful to your group, they have access to Resurrection and that one Phoenix ability.
