    Now that The Last of Us Season 1 has ended, will Square Enix make a TV show?

    The Last of Us' first season was a brilliant TV show that, for the first time, showcased the amazing storytelling that is present in video games. Is Square Enix considering making a TV show for Final Fantasy 14? We could let ARR be season 1, 2.1-2.5 be season 2 (perfect cliffhanger too), HW be season 3, and so on.

    I think there were plans at some point to make one through Netflix based around Cid, but it either got scrapped or was lost in the shuffle.

    That's unfortunate. FF14's story may not stand up to the likes of The Last of Us, but it'll still be good TV if someone adapts it.

    TV adaptations of bad stories happen all the time, and FF14 is at least above average. I mean, there's a movie about Mario, which has essentially zero story.

    TLOU show was horrible just like the halo show, i hope square doesnt butcher FF14 by turning it into a show
