Buying class boost for gil - Money making

Is it morally okay to buy a shop class boost for classes you have no intention of playing for the 500k gil?

Do you know anyone who did it? And is it no different from buying a WoW token each month?

If you buy all the classes, so one class each month, after buying them all, you'll end up with nearly 10k mil gil.

Idk what classes you have leveled / available. Roulettes can net you 100k easy in a day just for playing. More if you’re the supposed “class in need”.

Gatherers can net you a fair amount if you don’t over saturate the market. Say purple carrots for example can be 300 g one day. 1000 g the next so long as you are selling stacks of 10 and not 99 and don’t have 10 stacks of them for sale at once. Easy money for 5 minutes of gathering.

I wouldn’t spend real money, in that amount for a measily amount of Gil.

Kolaina rights. Mao makes tons of Gils doings the gatherings. Mao also makes tons of Gils doings the treasure maps. Retainers also help Mao makes Gils doings quick explorations. Sometimes retainers come back with venture crates containing black or white dyes and Mao just made 1/2 to 1 million Gils. Is nots hard to make Gils. Just needs to be persistent.

The token only works as long as someone is willing to buy them, do people here even know how to it works?

A lot of us knows how it works.

The question would be (if interested in doing it), what would SE make available to the player who gives up their gil? Blizzard made a lot of mistakes with the WoW token when they decided it could be converted to Battle.net Balance instead of being restricted to game time, or at least WoW account services.

i think most people still buy it for the sub time, not for the bnet balance, only a small handful of "too rich to ever be broke" people use it to buy games or account services

I don't want a system that simply officially allow some form of RMT.

If they gonna put sub-token or mogstation stuffs into the game, it should be strictly as an inflation fighting measure. These items are bought with gil from the NPC with the gil removed from the game completely, not transfer from one player to another.

It's not a morally bad thing to do, just a colossal waste of money. 500k for $25 isn't a good deal, especially with how easy it is to make gil.

I would however recommend learning whatever job you skipped outside of instanced content if you ever do change your mind and want to try that job.

Allowing it is pretty much just a formality. Let's be honest, the Final Fantasy market is full of RMT gil. If you don't see that, fooling yourself. It doesn't make financial sense for a company to go after RMT too hard. I think a lot of people don't realize how common RMT is these days. People always say "there are so many bots" well, I wonder why.

It doesn't make financial sense for a company to go after RMT too hard. I think a lot of people don't realize how common RMT is these days. People always say "there are so many bots" well, I wonder why.

My post has very little to do with RMT as in how I see it, tbh I don't really care about RMT itself. I just want that if SE gonna put real money stuff into the game, it will be used as a way to combat inflation. Allowing it to be used as an RMT tool means it can't be used to reduce inflation, that's all.
