    Yeah, I take everything that is said with a grain of salt. Always. I think it was obvious from the get-go that FF 16's development would have an effect on FF XIV in some capacity. This happens every single time SE has a major project in the works. FF 16 is probably an "all hands on decK" situation as well considering SE has had failure after failure recently. They probably know that FF 16 has to be good, otherwise the company will be in quite a pickle. They also know that FF XIV has an almost zealous fan base, so they probably aren't too worried about players unsubbing for now. So yeah, I saw this coming a mile away, and I hope it was worth the wait and the cost.

    We'll see when 7.x comes out whether it's actually because of FF16
