Here's the problem. If it were a simple pink chair, not tied to a race, few people would be angry. Things from The Sil'dihn Subterrane didn't need to be pink and cute to fit the race.
Lalafells are cute, so stuff like this fits them. They aren't really the 'adult' race so I see zero issues with items added like this for them. It is what it is.
