However, if you tried to explain that to higher ups, they would laugh in your face for even suggesting putting the company at risk when the game is still popular. I'm not trying to suggest that Final Fantasy 14 is going to die because I definitely don't think that's true. However, resources will just be spent somewhere else.
    Pretty much..,
So much is in question right now..,
How much Focus did XVI take from XIV development.
How would the Change of CEO affect the next Years..,
How does the Graphics Update affect future systems/feedback? is it more that just visual?
Will XIV get more workers/funds injected to increase/support for the next 10 years..,

So much going on that affects many of topics..,

CBU3 doe more than just 14, 11, and now 16. They have their own internal divisions, think of it as a subcompany under SE.

FWIW, CBU3 also does the dragon quest builder games, its like complaining that when one of those games get made 14 suffers for it.

While normally true, FFXVI has been noted to have taken several of the higher profile devs from FFXIV specifically and Yoshi P did admit that he borrowed quite a few devs from the FF14 team himself. So in this case, yes FFXVI has directly impacted FFXIV because there are only so many hours in a day and there is a limit to how much work one person can do regardless of how many projects they are on.

Just make me wonder how internally stretched thin is square development teams division where they are pulling all the developers from their "high successful" mmo development team. That would explain why every live letter yoshi keeps announcing they have position open because it looks like people that once fill those rolls are getting move else where in the company or towards 16 development which make me question is he really ok with the quality he put for endwalker? I mean he say that want to support the game for the next "10 years" but with all the outdated systems that game currently has is that really even possible because I always felt that should put development time during filler patch to start upgrade those out date systems instead them force trying to get something to work with the current system in place. My other question is does this game really need big graphic update? To me the game still looks ok because the artstyle is still holding up all these year so when yoshi said that at back in 6.0 live letter I was like dude you said that alot old systems keeps you from developing new interesting things for the game maybe you should invest your time upgrade your game inter working so that the game can continue function properly and less on graphical flair.
