Incidentally, it makes much more sense for everybody or nobody to have beards. The Greeks had them, the Romans did not. A striking example of the intense trends surrounding beards comes around the mid 19th century. Look at prominent intellectuals of the time such as Darwin, Brahms, Dvoark, Engles, Lincoln, Marx, Verdi....They suddenly go from clean-shaven to looking...well like the dwarves pictured above at almost exactly the same time. (Lincoln was in fact the first US president with a beard.)

I've seen threads like this come up at least half a dozen times in my tenure on the forum. I'm in camp beard and MOAR BEARDS!

I've a fairly bushy beard most of the time IRL, and I'd love for better beard options in game. They did, in recent years, give the midlander males the WoL stubble face.

On another note, do you think Solus conditioned his huge, epic beard? Do the Sylphs bring Ramuh some sort of forest plant oils for his magnificent beard? Do you think they could give us Ramuh(Flying Centaur)'s beard? I'd so love it if they would.

Have you guys actually seen thick beards in real life? I live in Portland, OR and large beards is a bit of a fad here amongst hipsters and let me tell you, giant beards are NASTY.

just cuz the liberal hippies in Portland, OR do not know how to properly care for a beard doesn't mean its Nasty and hate to say it I live in Alabama large thick beards been here A LOT longer than the fad in oregon that will be gone in a year or two. Now its a lot to maintain got to shampoo it, brush it everyday and sometimes trim around your lips but large beards should be in the game.

Giant beards don't make you epic, they just mean you have poor hygiene.

Only if you don't wash the damn thing or use beard oils. Back before I shaved off nearly 5 inches of hair I got compliments almost on the daily on my beard. Mostly by men though. Men like beards.
