Is the so called PS5 even in stock?
As for why PC, backwards compatibility, emulation
Yes, PCs costs significantly more than a console, but it also can do much more and more than likely last longer.

And "easier" to repair. If anything breaks down, you can replace it, often with a better piece than before (depending on which it was). Consoles have specific hardware, you can't just slap a new piece and call it a day

Can't slap an Intel cpu in an amd socket and vice versa.
Need ddr5 for newer motherboards and ddr4 for older (or ddr3 if you have a really old build)
You wouldn't want to pair a newer GPU with an ancient cpu as you are just leaving performance on the table.
Gotta make sure your psu has enough watts and amps on the right rails to power your system.
It's a lot more than people tend to say, but it's not that hard either.
Walmart where I shop and the one near my parents house. Both have had 3-4 units in quite routinely with them taking a week to two weeks to sell them all. Just depends on where you live and if the stores that sell them are getting them routinely enough.
Note: Taking advice from a players alt, is like taking advice from a voice in a dark room. Criticism is a two way street remember that!!
