"I got mine so eff you"
reminds me of people actively opposing the construction of new houses once they become homeowners

that is literally the mentality of the old feast players lol
They just don't other people to have what they got because they want to feel special.
Was that not literally the point of feast? You had to be a certain rank to claim the rewards? Regardless if it's legitimate or not it wouldn't be fair to those who actually grinded it.
Edit: infact it'd be a real slap in the face tbh, I'm of the mentality that it's okay for everyone not to have everything. Pvpers have their special rewards and pvers have theirs.

the difference is accessibility tho pve'ers have the opportunity regardless when they joined or started playing whereas pvp doesnt theres also my other point above i think your making a strawman argument with the not having everything mentality and unless you were the top 100 i dont think you could say its a slap in faceWas that not literally the point of feast? I see your point of accessibility but that was the whole point of feast to begin with. It was quite literally a "You had to be there" thing to begin with. If you didn't put in the work you weren't rewarded with the glamor.
If anything I'm all for adding more top tier pvp rewards that you have to put in time for, but that's more a SE having pvp as an afterthought situation
the point is a comparison to ultimates,POTD and any other difficult content because none of these require a"You had to be there" thing, all it does to aquire these is effort and the"You had to be there" thing negates accessibilityI see your point of accessibility but that was the whole point of feast to begin with. Forgive me for scavenging through the thread, but this irks me.
You literally cannot compare Ultimates, POTD or anything PVE related to PVP Ranked. You are challenging a computer when doing these, not other players.
PVP is fundamentally a competition, you are competing against other players. This means to ascertain "winners" someone has to lose to clarify who is the better player, which obviously varies based on many circumstances.
Top X is the literal definition of that concept. Tier rewards (metal ranks, diamond, crystal) are essentially what makes you stand out from other players outside of numbered ranks, which theoretically has space for everyone as long as they keep playing. It is the metal + gem ranks that definitely need improvement much more so than Top 100, by rewarding you with a currency tied to Ranked, but with a list of rewards or consumable that are actually dyeable and... more varied than the Hellhound Weapons back when Wolf Chokers were the defacto Ranked currency.
But quite frankly, I don't think it is a good idea to shit on people who have earned their top 100 in previous seasons by releasing the items without any changes for open grabs. Asshats like Ahri are imo not enough justification to topple the entire system like an angry mob.
